the poetry project: diamante

Today it’s a diamante poem, a seven-lined contrast poem set up in a diamond shape. I had a collaborator on this one. Here goes nothing!

“Egg” by JB and PB

Egg

Raw, runny

Cracking, beating, frying

Slimy, sliding, bubbling, hardening

Heating, boiling, timing

Salted, peppered,

Egg
