mirage or hoax?

What do you think? Today I’ve been puzzling over this, but I have my personal suspicions. See for yourself.

Even if this one is a hoax, I have decided it would be fun to see a real mirage someday. (Much better than seeing a tornado.)

  1. I’d say it’s a hoax, it’s seems too perfect. 🙂

It reminds me of two things:

After the Soviet Union broke up and a certain amount of free press was allowed in the new entities, there were many reports In the local newspapers of space aliens landing in towns and villages and interacting with the residents. It appeared that in order to sell newspapers and bring notoriety to their locales, the proprietors were engaging in some tales of dubious nature.

The second thing it reminded me of was Dick Willoughby and his “Silent City of Muir Glacier” http://www.greatestplaces.org/mirage/fake.html and http://juneauempire.com/stories/102110/art_723849723.shtml

I hope you won’t see too many more tornadoes in your future. There is plenty of other natural phenomena much nicer to see.
